After the Protests, What Now?
March 11 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm CST
THIS SESSION’S TOPIC:
How to have conversations about reparations for African Americans. I have been told that this is a difficult topic to discuss among only African Americans and in a diverse group it will be even more challenging, and still it must be addressed. Darryl Allen is going to host this gathering and I trust we are all up to the challenge. Please join us.
An invitation to share sacred space with an ethnically diverse gathering of people committed to working collaboratively, building relationships and communities that will inspire action to eradicate the racist social norms in this country.
NOTE FROM RACHELLE:
I can’t afford to be shy about this – If you are white, like me, please join this conversation because the truth is, without white voices and our commitment to action, change won’t come about.
Come ready to share lived experiences, so we may continue to grow together in our understanding of who we are and strengthen our commitment to equality.
Come ready to be uncomfortable and vulnerable.
Come ready to be heard, valued, and responded to with love.
Come ready to be inspired to consider what challenges you in creating action that moves us all forward…
and then step by step, take action.
We are all needed to create the world we want to live in.
We meet every third Thursday. Join as you are able.
