Discussing Racism, Sexism & Intersectionality in Our Lives
June 17, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

Payment: This gathering is pay-what-you-feel, empowering you to pay what you feel this experience is worth to you and within your means to support.
Join us for a discussion on how racism, sexism and intersectionality affect (us) white people. We grow together, actively listening (and at times confronting) each other on alternate Wednesdays, sharing our thoughts and feelings.
Many of us have been shaken by the two recent incidents that occurred in Central Park (NYC) and Minneapolis with George Floyd. Please read some of the many writings about these incidents and think about whatever thoughts and feelings come up for you related to them.
BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) are welcome to join us, but may prefer joining a separate group which will be started shortly, since the early stages of the white person’s journey to learn about racism can be triggering.
We hope that you will join our discussion, and if you like it, be a part of a continuing dialogue community.
Please RSVP above. You’ll receive a ticket with the Zoom link needed to access this gathering via email.
