The Gathering for Change Agents: Tapping Into the Imaginal Realm to Co-Create the Future
April 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm CDT
Albert Einstein said: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” As usual, Albert was on to by Henry Corbin, the noted Islamic scholar, when he introduced the term “Mundus Imaginalis” to name that intermediate, invisible realm of causality that figures so prominently in mystical Islamic cosmology. Corbin distinguished the imaginal realm from the imaginary realm. What is imaginary is made up, but what is imaginal has an actual reality in another dimension. Corbin and Einstein were not the only scholars to point to this important source of causality. Carl Jung referred to it as the “Collective Unconscious.” He taught us that you can play in the imaginal realm consciously through guided imagery and you can allow it to enter you through active imagination, dreams, prayers, meditation, and idle meanderings.
Our April speaker at The Gathering for Change Agents is a contemporary pioneer and explorer of the imaginal realm: Lion Goodman. Lion’s Clear Beliefs Method and Clear Your Beliefs coaching process leverage the imaginal realm to help change agents reach their potential. Lion has agreed to take us into the imaginal realm to explore what the future may hold if we unleash our full potential as individuals… and as a community.
We know this will be an exciting call, and we expect it will be a powerful antidote to the uncertainty that has gripped humanity with the spread of the new coronavirus. This global pandemic has given humanity the opportunity to pause and to reimagine a future with renewed focus on love, compassion and cooperation.
We hope you can join us live on Wednesday, April 1, when our guest speaker Lion Goodman helps us explore:
How can we tap into the imaginal realm to create our personal best future?
How can we tap into the imaginal realm to create our collective best future?
What tools and practices will help us continually tap the power of the imaginal realm?
