Sharing Circle in Light of Anti-Asian Violence in Atlanta (Cross-racial, open to all)
March 20 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm CDT
If you’re here, you already know. Those Asian women and their families are in pain. We need to honor their lives. We need to honor each other. Sending love to all of us hurting right now.
Though the rise in Anti-Asian racism has been disturbing and harmful throughout its entire run, what happened in Atlanta is a fiercely amplified display of the hatred and the violence.
This will be a safe space to release and receive what thoughts and feelings are stirring in us, unpack this Anti-Asian violence, and just simply care for each other through this moment. Indeed, we need action, but we also need to heal with each other and sustain the love and energy required to keep fighting. It’s not just about what we’re fighting for, but also who we’re fighting with.
Space is limited to protect the space needed for authentic connection. If you find this full and would like to see another space open up at another time, please email Andrew @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
